In a few months, the fallen Hollywood star Kevin Spacey (63) will have to answer again in a lawsuit for sexual assault in London. Until then, he distracts himself with Prince Harry (38)!
Spacey was spotted in Rome on Thursday with the book Spare, the son of’s controversial memoir, under his arm King Charles III (74).
In a navy blue coat, with a dark red sweater, glasses and a baseball cap pulled low over his face, Spacey made his way to the airport – armed with a plane ticket, mobile phone, passport and the more than 500 pages on which Harry ruthlessly settles accounts with his family, shares sex experiences and a few too tall tale told. For him apparently THE aviator reading on the way home.
Kevin Spacey was in Italy because he received a lifetime achievement award at the National Film Museum in Turin on Monday. A decision that not everyone liked.
In 2017, allegations of sexual assault and harassment against Spacey became known in the course of the #MeToo debate, after which he lost his role in the Netflix series “House of Cards”. On Wednesday he attended a presentation of the film “L’uomo che disegnò Dio” (translated: The man who drew God) by Italian director and actor Franco Nero (81) in Rome, in which he plays an investigator.
In the UK, where Kevin Spacey used to be artistic director of London’s Old Vic Theatre, things soon got serious again for him. There, the American has to answer for a total of twelve abuse lawsuits.
Just last October, the actor was cleared of the charge in a civil lawsuit in New York acquitted of sexually harassing his colleague Anthony Rapp (51) during their time on Broadway in the mid-1980s. Rapp had alleged that Spacey molested him when he was a minor at a party at Spacey’s Manhattan apartment. But because the plaintiff got caught up in several contradictions, he aroused considerable doubts among the jury.
From June 6th, a trial lasting several weeks is to start in London, in which Spacey will be accused of several sexual assaults against men in the years 2001 to 2013.
He himself vehemently denies the charges against him, pleading not guilty.
