MADRID.- The Spanish actress Itziar Castro, Known for participating in films such as Skins o Champions and series like Vis a Visdied this Thursday in Lloret de Mar (Girona) at the age of 46.

The actress had shared images of the rehearsal with the Kallípolis Swimming Club on Wednesday with former swimmer and coach Anna Tarrés.
The interpreter’s family and friends issued a statement, released by the actress’ representation agency, stating that she died on the night of December 7.
“Her contribution to the world of art and her tireless work for equality and social justice will remain a lasting legacy of her passion and commitment,” they expressed to ask for respect for the actress’s family “during this difficult period of mourning.”
Details on commemorative events for those wishing to pay tribute will be announced in the coming days, they said.
Goya nominated
Itziar Castro (Barcelona, 1977) began his career in 2022 in the feature film Night outafter which he participated in different television series and films, including the film Snow Whiteby Pablo Berger.
In 2017 he was part of the film Skins, by Eduardo Casanova, which earned her a Goya nomination for Best New Actress. In 2018 she joined the cast of the series Vis a Viswhere he gained even more visibility as a performer.
The actress, who also developed her career in musicals and theater, participated in films such as Kill God o Champions. She was the acting teacher of Operation Triumph 2018 and was part of the series By H or by Bon HBO Spain, the Once upon a time… but not anymorethe Netflix.
In October of this year he appeared in the short Quotedirected, produced and scripted by herself.
