Splinter Cell Remake: Ubisoft ignites Twitter with a very mysterious tweet

Officially announced in December 2021 by Ubisoft, Splinter Cell Remake seems to have made its communication a real bet on discretion. If the developer is committed to offering new foundations as well as a remodeled story for a “modern audience”, it must be recognized that all of this is still quite mysterious. To tell the truth, one could even believe that the principal concerned is playing the game of cat and mouse with the fans, especially after his last gesture on Twitter.

An image synonymous with imminent announcement?

The social network stamped with the little blue bird has indeed found itself in the spotlight in recent hours, after the publisher’s Belgian account published a message with the #SplinterCell, followed by an image on which we can see Agent Sam Fischer’s famous night vision goggles.

This very short, but extremely important tweet has given way to a real treasure hunt in the minds of players who inevitably see it as a coded message from Ubisoft to tell us that the game will show up again very soon.

Although there is nothing to confirm it, this theory could very well come true in the coming weeks, Ubisoft not being the first studio to use this ploy as a teasing tool.

Ubisoft, which must now do without its director of development, is in any case aware of being expected at the turn by fans who have long hoped for the return of this legendary franchise that has forever marked the history of Xbox.
