Juarez City.- The Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM) reinforced security and prevention strategies with upper secondary level institutions, with the aim of guaranteeing the safety and well-being of students.

In a meeting held at the Center for Emergency and Immediate Response (CERI) 911, with directors of the Technological Industrial and Services Baccalaureate Centers (CBTIS) and the Center for Technological, Industrial and Services Studies (CETIS), in which he also participated the Prosecutor of the Northern Zone, Carlos Manuel Salas, representatives of the General Coordination of Road Safety, Civic Justice and Social Development, reported on the activities carried out in recent weeks.

During the month of March, almost 130 preventive patrols were carried out around educational institutions, with the aim of preventing incidents of school violence or vandalism.

The Social Prevention Directorate of the SSPM implemented the “ValoraT” program at the CBTIS 114 and 128 campuses, as well as at CETIS 61, serving 58 students and 57 parents or guardians.

The Municipal Public Security Secretary, César Omar Muñoz Morales, said that the effort made by the authorities to maintain the safety of the students is backed by the Northern Zone Prosecutor, Carlos Manuel Salas, who has extensive knowledge of the subject.
