He announced that the Minister of National Education Pap Ndiaye would go “on site today”.

The teacher, a professor in a private establishment in Saint-Jean-de Luz, died after being fatally stabbed by a student on Wednesday, according to the Bayonne prosecutor’s office.

The student was arrested, firefighters had previously said. The police, the prefect of the department, the prosecutor of Bayonne and the rector of the academy go on the spot, according to a press release from the prefecture.
