Just consider: if you haven’t finished the game yet and would like to discover some things yourself, you shouldn’t be too curious here. Therefore at this point in advance one spoiler alert!

Let’s start…

The Z-95 Headhunter is back

The Z-95 Headhunters you can see at the beginning of the game in the prologue on Coruscant, the hunter is also mentioned by name. Its roots, however, go far back. The Z-95 Headhunter was first mentioned in the 1979 novel Han Solo at Stars’ End. Later, the Z-95, considered the predecessor of the X-Wing, appeared in various media, such as the game Star Wars: Tie Fighter. He was revisited for the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, where he served as a hunter for the Republic.

Fans already know the Z-95.

Space whales between the stars

Captain Skoova Stev has a lot to tell you after you meet him. Once you’ve tracked him down on Koboh, you’ll find him later in the cantina. There he tells you that he was once rescued by space whales. Of course he’s playing on them purrgils that live in space and can travel through hyperspace. They are known from the series Star Wars: Rebels.

Gatekeeper like Jabba

At some points in the game you’ll see some sort of security droid before you go through doors. These are of course reminiscent of the mechanical eye Return of the Jedi, which C-3PO and R2-D2 talk to before entering Jabba’s palace. Among other things, you can see one of these gatekeepers in the cantina on Koboh.

Eye to eye.

Fight the rancor like Luke did

In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor you get to deal with, among other things, a rancor as a boss opponent. And there you can use the same tactics that Luke Skywalker in Return of the Jedi took advantage of. Use the force to pull a large bone towards you. Then throw it into the rancor’s mouth to confuse him for a moment. Works great here too!

Oggdo Bogdo is back

In the predecessor of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor you got to deal with Oggdo Bogdo as a boss. An oversized frog, if you will. And it was a real challenge. Were you glad you got rid of him? Well, he’s back in Jedi: Survivor! At least in a way. You can fight a descendant of Oggdo Bogdo in the second part. If you defeat him, you have the opportunity to compete against Oggdo Bogdo and his offspring together in Doma’s shop.

An old acquaintance.

I know the Trodatome, don’t I?

With Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker were the trodatoms introduced as a new alien race. One of them, Klaud, joined the resistance. In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor you can also see a Trodatome on Koboh. It’s unclear if this is Klaud, but he looks quite similar.

Anakin’s loaned speeder

In Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones borrows (let’s call it that) a speeder from Anakin Skywalker for a chase. You can find a speeder that looks a lot like the one Anakin stole on Coruscant, for example. And such a speeder can also be seen on Koboh.

We know him.

Listen to the battle droids

Sometimes it pays to wait a little and not jump right into a fight. This is especially true for the battle droids, which are always good for a few funny sayings and dialogues in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. It captures the humor of the Clone Wars era quite well. So be prepared to hear a “Roger, Roger” here and there. Or a battle droid telling another that he doesn’t want to die.

Jabba’s miniature sailing barge

Jabba liked his sailing barge. All the more fitting that he met his end together with her in Return of the Jedi. In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor you can find just that sailing barge. Of course not in the original, after all it is on Tatooine. Rather, you run into a model of it. You can find it in the Cantina on Koboh.

The sailing barge can be seen in small format.

Jedha before its destruction

New and familiar planets await you in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. One of them is jedha. We know the fate of this world Rogue One. It is one of the first planets to be dated death star gets destroyed. Jedi: Survivor takes place a few years before the events of Rogue One, so you can still explore the world and discover interesting things. And no one here suspects the fate that awaits Jedha.

A little drawing class with a mogu

One of the best secrets in the game is a scene or secret room that you can’t reach in a few seconds. You’ll have to navigate a hidden passage in Harvest Ridge for almost two minutes, but the sight below is worth it.

Harvest Ridge is on Koboh, there it goes into a cave where you will find some vines to climb (see map). Climb up, along the ceiling and up to a ledge. Eventually you will come to a passage in the wall that will take you a while. Eventually you’ll reach a room with some battle droids drawing a mogu. Strange but funny. And now officially part of the Star Wars canon!

A trip that rewards you with a funny scene.

This door technician has it all

Rick the Door Technician is a second boss that you can fight in Jedi: Survivor. The whole thing is a reference to the appearance of Kylo Ren actor Adam Driver on Saturday Night Live. In a parody of Undercover Boss, “Matt the Radar Technician” played there and secretly worked as a radar technician at Starkiller Base.

The slightly different boss.

Cal’s legendary poncho is a must

Cal Kestis’ poncho isn’t exactly one of Star Wars Jedi’s fan favorites. There were many memes about it, which were also picked up by Cal actor Cameron Monaghan. As a little reminder of the past, you can also get and wear the poncho in Jedi: Survivor. Visit Fort Kah’Lin on the planet Koboh, there you will find the wonderful garment.

Leftovers from the clone wars

There are numerous allusions and references to the prequel trilogy and the clone wars in Jedi: Survivor. You’ll see Republic gunboats, fight B1 and B2 battle droids, fight Magna Guards and dismantle all sorts of relics from the clone wars into their individual parts. You can also find a clone trooper’s helmet in the cantina on Koboh.

Boba Fett also shows up

Also the legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett makes an appearance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. A little work is needed before you can meet him. On Koboh you will meet Caij in the Cantina. Eventually she starts giving you quests and you go hunting for different people. At the end of this quest line you will meet Boba Fett. However, you cannot fight him.

An encounter with Boba Fett.
