The Force has perhaps never been stronger than on this Easter weekend. If the hunt for chocolate eggs particularly occupied our Sunday, the day of Saturday April 8 was marked by the holding of the Star Wars Celebration 2023. Once again carrying many announcements on the future of the franchise, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor took advantage of the event to show itself with new images with less than three weeks of its release.

One last glimpse before answering the call of the Force

Respawn Entertainment and Lucas Film Games couldn’t have picked a better time to give Star Wars Jedi: Survivor a final spotlight. While a trailer focused on the story had been presented to us a little earlier, the developer this time decided to accentuate his video on the phases of gameplay during which Cal encounters many vassals of the Empire.

A Stormtrooper on his speeder gone to meet the glass of a TIE fighter, an AT-ST pilot ejected from his cockpit or even a fierce fight against a rancor and a Gen’Dai, Cal will have a lot to do if he wants find this haven of peace that he so ardently seeks.

Fortunately for him, our young Jedi will be able to count on the support of his companions who will come to lend him a hand. The video indeed allows us to see Merrin (last survivor of the Night Sisters) and Bode Akuna coming to join forces with Cal during certain clashes.

Present during the broadcast of the trailer, director Stig Asmussen also took part in a interview during which he declared that a large part of the planet Coruscant would be explorable as an open world by the player. A true central planet in the Star Wars universe, Coruscant was for a long time the capital of the Old Republic before becoming that of the Empire.

As a reminder, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be available from April 28 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
