EA and Respawn Entertainment sensed a disruption in the Force that led them to make a tough decision for Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
If you were expecting Star Wars Jedi Survivor for March 17, 2023, you will have to find another occupation for that day.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor won’t be on time
The sequel to Fallen Order 2, Star Wars Jedi Survivor, will be a much richer game but will skip the extreme violence. Using lightsabers, yes, but in a clean way. As said above, this new episode should have been released in two months and it will finally be delayed by a few weeks.
Over the past three years, the Jedi team at Respawn has poured their hearts and souls into Star Wars Jedi Survivor, and we’re proud to announce that the next chapter in the Cal Kestis story is complete. We are now fully focused on the last step: fixing bugs to improve performance, stability, polish and, above all, the player experience.
Jedi Survivor is a direct response to feedback from our community that offers more environments to explore, more advanced combat and movement, and of course, the continued story of Cal and comics. Creating this game has made us a better team, and we’ve gone the extra mile in every way to make this game the Star Wars sequel our fans have come to expect from Respawn and Lucasfilm Games.
In order for the team to reach the level of quality set by Respawn, take the time necessary to deliver the level of polish that our fans deserve, we have added six crucial weeks to development. Star Wars Jedi Survivor will now launch worldwide on April 28, 2023.
