Turn 10 Studios has confirmed how the new reboot will run Forza Motorsport on consoles Xbox Series X|S.

The franchise Forza Motorsport has struggled with the emergence of Forza Horizon, which has become the biggest franchise on Xbox in recent years. Despite this, both series have benefited from being on Xbox Game Pass, allowing players to try games before they buy.
Xbox Game Pass is especially important for Forza games, as they are regularly withdrawn from sale before sequels are released. The last game in the Forza Motorsport franchise, Forza Motorsport 7, was delisted in 2021, leaving two years without support for active gameplay.
News about Forza Motorsport’s performance on Xbox Series X|S comes directly from the developer, in an online Q&A session. Players received confirmation that the game will run at 4K 60 FPS on Xbox Series X, and 1080p 60 FPS on Xbox Series S. On weaker hardware, Turn 10 has prioritized frame rate parity over resolution.
Although many of the older games in the franchise ran at 30 FPS on older hardware, the higher frame rate certainly makes a bigger difference to the overall experience than the resolution. This is especially noticeable in a driving game like Forza Motorsport, where speed is everything.
