What is the release date of Starfield? A question that burns the lips of many players and fans of Bethesda productions. According to the developers they will have an answer very soon.
Probably the most ambitious title ever made by Bethesda, Starfield promises to be one of the big hits of the year. Xbox Series and PC players are pinning a lot of hope on it while the title still remains very enigmatic on many points. Largely absent from the Xbox Developer Direct conference, the Microsoft exclusivity will be highlighted during a dedicated presentation soon. The American giant seems to have confirmed that the release date will be announced there and that we will have the expected information sooner than expected.
Starfield release date announced ‘very soon’
First new license from Bethesda for 25 years, Starfield was already announced in 2018 as a little breath of fresh air in the galaxy of RPGs. The Xbox Series and PC exclusivity promises to be monstrous, and each speech does not fail to make players boil with impatience. To offer a project that lives up to the studio’s crazy ambitions, and we hope it’s less buggy than usual, the American firm has postponed its flagship game to the first half of 2023.
In response to a recent Instagram post, Besthada’s Latin American arm confirmed that Starfield’s release date will be announced “very soon.” She also recalls that an event dedicated to the RPG is also planned, which now leaves little room for doubt as to an announcement during this same presentation. The publisher has yet to reveal exactly when it will take place, but it may not be as far in the future as imagined.
Rumors, however, suggest a launch delayed by a few months, even as teams are impacted by the huge wave of layoffs from Microsoft. As a reminder, a credible source has hinted that Starfield will narrowly miss its launch window. The title could indeed be pushed back to July or August 2023 if we are to believe one leaker which had already announced the postponement of Redfall last year. To be continued…
