Those who visit the IT Joven fair in Parque Tecnópolis will have the opportunity to participate in “Pisar Malvinas”, a virtual reality (VR) experience that recreates the geography of the islands and allows you to explore themopening the unique possibility of coming into contact with Malvinas to get to know them, feel them, learn more about their history and deepen the sense of belonging.
The proposal, available to all those who join the IT fair from April 19 to 23consists of an immersion walk powered by mapping technologies, 3D animation and the use of a set of VR glasses specially designed by the National University of San Martín (UNSAM).
The experience brings five stages of exploration that focus both on the British usurpation after the Malvinas Conflict of 1982 and on previous history. It focuses on different feats that took place on the islands, as well as the particularities of the geography of the bicontinental map.

Strictly speaking, “Pisar Malvinas” represents a technological alternative to access the islands, such an important point for Argentines, in a way unthinkable until today.
Young IT Fair
Between April 19 and 23, the IT Joven fair will convene the entire technological sector of the country to promote interest in the latest advances in the digital world among young people who are beginning to integrate into this field.
The event will take place de Wednesday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12 a.m. to 8 p.m.. It will have a varied schedule of conferences and workshops given by the main leaders in the sector, experiences to get in touch with the latest trends and the presentation of artists such as La Joaqui, Rusherking, Lit Killah, FMK, Ángela Torres, Natalie Pérez and Thunder, among others.
The focus of the sample will be on digital inclusion to guarantee access to youth rights. At the same time, it will seek to provide the new generations with tools in decision-making, since it will be the youngest who will end up using and promoting the use of future technologies.
