Rocksteady Studios is back this year with a new game in the DC universe, but this one does a lot differently than the successful Arkham series. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League promotes Task Force X, aka Suicide Squad, to heroes and has a stronger focus on multiplayer. Now the developers are showing around six minutes of co-op gameplay.

In the video, Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot and Captain Boomerang are tasked with rescuing Lex Luthor, who is being held captive by The Flash. At this point, the lightning-fast superhero is already – like the other members of the Justice League – under the influence of the villain Braniac. But before that, the squad has to clear rows of corrupted soldiers out of the way. When it finally comes to a direct confrontation with The Flash, another member of the Justice League surprisingly appears who is not (yet?) being manipulated by Brainiac.

In addition to the gameplay clip, Rocksteady Studios has a Behind the scenes video released for the game. In it, the developers confirm once again that the campaign can also be played alone. They also go into more detail about the different special abilities of the anti-heroes and explain that there will always be new content updates after the game is released.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released on May 26, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
