In parts of Potsdam city center there will be a Sunday shopping this weekend. The city administration pointed this out in a special official gazette. The occasion is the antique mile, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday in Jägerstrasse – according to the organizers, with 80 antique dealers and artisans from all over Germany.

Shops in the area can also open on Sundays. According to the city, this applies to all of Jägerstrasse, Gutenbergstrasse and Brandenburger Strasse, between Dortustrasse and Friedrich-Ebert-Strasse, as well as Friedrich-Ebert-Strasse between Nauener Tor and Wilhelmgalerie. The city councilors had decided on the exemption in their last meeting, based on the Brandenburg Shop Closing Time Act.
