Here you will find all results of the DVG line check and all articles about that. Between May 8 and July 18, 2022, more than 5500 participants took part in the large survey (Details: end of text) of our local editorial office on public transport in Duisburg and on 15 bus and train lines of the Duisburger Verkehrsgesellschaft (DVG) selected by the editors. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to issue a certificate to the DVG lines!

We update the following, sorted chronologically overview since mid-December ongoing with links to new releases, such as reports on individual lines or on individual criteria of the DVG line check. In the coming weeks, we will also use the results as an opportunity for critical reporting and ask DVG and passengers, politicians and experts about possible improvements – and also show good results.

  • At the DVG line check anyone interested anonymously in writing participate. The survey is based on scientific standards not representativesince the participants were not systematically selected according to characteristics.
  • Participants could DVG line of your choice with grades rate from 1 (very good) to 6 (unsatisfactory), according to the following criteria, among others: punctuality, frequency, comfort/equipment, safety, value for money, routing, connections to other lines, cleanliness, reliability, overall rating.
  • More than 5500 users have from May 8th to July 18th participated. The special offer of the 9 euro tickets from June 1, 2022. We asked for an evaluation of the price-performance ratio before the 9-euro ticket in the question formulation.
  • 4836 times Participants have a line online or on newspaper with school grades rated. the most reviews went for the tram lines 903 (2018) and 901 (784) as well as for the Stadtbahn line U79 (845) a. The line received the fewest ratings 907: only 38 (see graphic below).
  • That was the first call from our local editorial team to participate. The online questionnaire is no longer available. Here, in this article, see below “Downloads” However, the questionnaire with all questions, which was published in the printed Duisburg local edition and was used by many readers to participate.
  • We had called for participation on waz.de/duisburg, nrz.de/duisburg, in the printed local edition and via the corresponding Facebook pages and newsletters from the local Duisburg editorial offices.
