Bochum’s captain Anthony Losilla showed on Saturday afternoon that the situation is also affecting the players of the clubs. The Frenchman was asked about the defeat and clearly had trouble answering, fighting back tears when talking to Sky.
“It’s about more than the team”
He answered reporter Ulli Potofski: “In the first half it was far too little. In this situation we have to fight and give everything. I have no words. We mustn’t show such a face. That’s far too little. It’s about a lot more than the team. It’s about the whole club. There’s no way we can give up.”
The player was then released early from the interview. As “Bild” reports, according to the broadcaster, the VfL captain’s tears should have been taken into account. Bochum welcomes FC Augsburg on the coming matchday.
