Indeed, during the Council of Ministers, concerning the Pharmaceutical Industry sector, the Head of State, Abdelmadjid Tebboune instructed to “produce vaccines for children and insulin in Algeria from 2023, to fight against all forms of drug smuggling and to toughen the penalties for anyone involved”.

Moreover, he also ordered to rehabilitate the Saidal Group in order to enable it to ensure the coverage of a large part of the needs of the national market in drugs, coverage which fell to 5% whereas it represented 47% of the shares. Steps.

Saidal CEO reveals date for insulin production in Algeria
