Daniel Hernández, artistically known as Tekashi 6ix9inewas arrested this Friday by the authorities of Palm Beach, Florida, for failing to attend a court summons.

The arrest record states that the American rapper was arrested for failing to appear in court, but was released after posting $2,000 bail.

According to TMZ The singer’s arrest stems from three traffic tickets he received last June, after police pulled him over for driving over the speed limit.

This newspaper assures that in addition to the fines, Tekashi was cited for having an unregistered vehicle and not having car insurance.

The artist had to appear at a court hearing in July and when he failed to do so, a judge issued an arrest warrant.

It is not the first time that Tekashi has had issues with the law, it is known that the artist cooperated with the feds in a racketeering case in which he testified against members of his former gang.

Last March the rapper was involved in another problem after receive a beating inside the sauna of a gym after which he had to be hospitalized.
