MIAMI.- The successful serie The Lord of the heavens is far from coming to an end, because Telemundo confirmed that they are preparing to start filming the tenth season, something that did not seem possible after its protagonist, Rafael Amayawho plays Aurelio Casillas, will announce his retirement from the program.
Without the Mexican actor, the story of this saga will take an important turn: it now focuses on a new generation and has as its provisional title The Casillas dynasty.

Amaya departure
Recently, Rafael Amaya, who for more than a decade has played Aurelio Casillas, said that he was ready to close this stage that catapulted his career.

The Mexican interpreter explained that seeing his character and the series grow is something that will always fill him with pride and satisfaction. However, he maintains that it is time to say goodbye, be grateful for his time in the plot and continue on his path. “I’m ready for the new chapter in my career.”
