The student union has multiplied the videos to challenge the singer, so that he participates in one of their end-of-year events. And managed to convince him.
He had promised them a performance and he will keep his word: Keen’V announced on Saturday that he will come to sing his title sensual games at an event organized by students from the University of Paris-Saclay next June. A show offered free of charge thanks to the tenacity of the members of the Student Union who, for the past month, have been multiplying the videos on TikTok in the hope of convincing him.
It all starts on January 20, on the TikTok account @ude-paris-saclay, obviously created with the aim of calling on Keen’V to come and perform at the Garden Party for AgroParisTech students on June 4th. A first video, recorded during a student party, shows a crowd chanting the chorus of sensual games by repeating a choreography. A track taken from the singer’s very first album, Phenom’Nreleased in 2008.
“Day 1: to convince Keen’V to come and sing at our Garden Party”, they wrote in the caption, mentioning Keen’V and asking Internet users to do the same.
About fifteen similar videos have been published since, interesting more and more Internet users. Very quickly, the student pellets began to accumulate hundreds of thousands of views, and the TikTok account is now around 50,000 subscribers.
So much so that the singer of I would love to, himself very active on the application, was quick to react himself. A week ago, he challenged students by commenting on one of their videos: “At 100,000 likes on day 15 (age of the title) I will come and sing it for free”.
“I will be there”
For this fifteenth TikTok, the students have gone into overdrive: they appear there by the hundreds grouped together in a courtyard of the university in order to sing the title and resume the choreography. With 238,000 likes garnered, Keen’V had to bow:
“They got the 100,000 so I’ll be there at their garden party, a promise is a promise,” he wrote, taking the excerpt to his own account.
After a slump, marked in 2020 by a canceled tour for lack of a sufficient number of tickets sold, Keen’V made a winning comeback last summer with the album Diamondcertified gold record, carried by the tube outsummer.
