The 7-year-old boy died of rabies in Oaxaca
This Wednesday the 28th in the afternoon, the Health Services of oaxaca reported that a 7 year old boy that he was in the hospital on suspicion of rage passed away.
The minor was one of the three children infected with rabies by a bat bite in the community of Palo de Lima in the municipality of San Lorenzo.

The patient was admitted to said medical unit after presenting health complications after suffering a bite from a wild animal in recent days,” the Health Services reported.
They also gave in detail that in the last day there has been no change regarding the eight-year-old patient, who is under sedoanalgesia and mechanical ventilation, whose state of health remains serious.
So far, the health agency awaits the results of the Epidemiological Diagnosis and Reference Institute (InDRE) and the case of the third girl, the youngest two years old, they said that she has not presented symptoms of rabies for two days.

Meanwhile, a 29-year-old girl in the state of Nayarit was reported with rabies as a result of the bite of a house cat that came out at night and the young woman is currently under sedation and mechanical ventilation.
The woman is hemodynamically stable and has 98% oxygenation and a guarded prognosis, taking scalp biopsies, blood serum, corneal imprint, and saliva.
A short time later, her cat passed away from the disease.
