The world athletics championship in Budapest already gave big surprises this weekend and one of them was the new champion of the 100 meter dash; The star who conquered this important category within one of the most beloved sports disciplines was the American Noah Lyles, who finished the competition with a mark of 9.83 seconds.
Lyles, 26, managed to dominate the competition from start to finish by demonstrating a great pace of competition since his arrival in the Hungarian capital before the start of the official competitions.
“I aspire to achieve three gold medals (100, 200 and 4×100 relay) and beat Usain Bolt’s world record in the 200. I will run in 9.65 the 100 and the 200 in 19.10″, said the new world champion of the 100-meter dash, according to the EFE news agency.
