MIAMI.- The Hialeah Police Department is investigating the death of a man and a child found by the child’s mother inside the home, in what appears to be a case of murder followed by suicide, according to local authorities.
Lt. Eddie Rodríguez, Hialeah police spokesman, stated that a family member called 911 around 5:50 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, reporting that there were two people dead inside a home in the Lake House Apartments complex. , at 7225 W 11 Court.
According to the spokesperson, when the police arrived at the scene, they found the lifeless bodies of a man between 30 and 40 years old and a child.
The case is being treated as a suspected murder followed by suicide, although detectives are still investigating the details of this tragic event.
Police are also trying to clarify the identity and relationship of the people involved.
