Ashley Barrett manipulates the truth
Marvel and DC Comics go to the pan in The Boys. This comedy series mocks the myth of the superhero right in his boxes despite his physical superiority over the rest of the world. In a Season 4 teaser, Ashley Barrett, new boss of Vought International, shows us the progress of the company in several areas.
As always with Ashley Barrett and Vought International, the woman benefits to lie about Black Black. Murdered by Homelander, the boss explains to us that he is on a secret mission. The leader also clarifies that the company is looking for new members for the Seven to replace Maeve after her (fake) death and Starlight, branded a traitor. In other words, a teaser to say the least… cynical and full of manipulations.
What happened at the end of season 3?
For those who don’t remember, Homelander takes on Soldier Boy and Butcherspiked with Component V, in the Season 3 finale. Maeve pretends to be dead after this fight alongside The Boys and returns to civilian life without her powers (and one of her eyes gouged out during the battle).
Soldier Boy is captured again, Homelander unveils his son to the world then murders a militant in front of a cheering crowd and Butcher doesn’t have much time to live. With all these twists, season 4 promises a lot! There is talk of an upcoming ultra-gore scene, the most disgusting of the entire series.
