Sports writing, Jul 25 (EFE).- The Brazilian Thiago Seyboth Wild, 123 of the ATP, was eliminated this Tuesday in the round of 32 of the tournament on clay in Hamburg (Germany), after being defeated by the Slovakian Jozef Kavalik (172), who won 7-6 (6) and 6-4.
A premiere on German clay for two rivals who had never met before. Kavalik ended the Brazilian’s run in Hamburg in one hour and 54 minutes, having converted two of his three break chances, while Seyboth missed two of four break chances.
Jozef Kovalik, 30, will face Italian Lorenzo Musetti (18) in the round of 16, who finished off his rival, Swedish Elias Ymer (186), in one hour and 16 minutes, 6-4, 6-1. EFE
