Angel Torras Martinez, the brother of road racing driver Raül Torraswill start the second Supertwin Race to commemorate him a few days after his death.
“It is an honor to start the race as a way to represent Raül’s true passion for Tourist Trophy (TT) Racing. My family and I were very proud of everything that Raül has achieved as the fastest Spaniard”, said Ángel as reported by the competition on Twitter.
The Catalan, a Toll Racing Team rider who made his debut in 2017 and competed in 21 TT races, suffered an accident on the last lap of a race.

Raul has been the fastest spanish to date in having completed the TT Circuit, obtaining a total of 18 bronze statuettes and registering his fastest lap on the circuit this Tuesday.
Both the organization and the Higher Sports Council have lamented the “tragic loss” of Torras and have sent their condolences to Raül’s family, friends and loved ones.
