The wind made the rescue operation complicated, but in the end all seven people in the ride had been able to be transported down, one at a time. There is no information that anyone has been injured.
The emergency services had a ladder truck that could reach up to 30 meters and was just able to reach the victims. The attraction itself sits on a 60 meter high pole which it rides up and down.
According to the Spanish television company Telecinco was the chairs turned upside down at the stop. Thanks to a security system, however, they could be turned back.
The local police will now investigate whether the accident could have been avoided. According to Balearic Chronicle there is information that it has broken down several times in the past.
