In an industry as big as cinema, there are many actors who have earned the love of viewers, but there are few like John Goodmanwho has been in this for more than three decades, making his debut in 1988 with the series ‘Roseanne’.
Fame quickly knocked on his door, as he began to appear in projects as recognized as ‘The Big Lebowsky’, ‘The Flintstones’, ‘Argo’ y ‘Forever‘, and it is that alluding to this last title, it is a face that has not rested for any year since it came to the big screen, until 2019.
Of course, during all these years, Goodman has not been wasting time, because has been following through on that promise he made in 2007, to lose weight. Now, on the red carpet of the 62nd edition of the Monte Carlo Television Festival, she has surprised the entire world with a totally changed physique, having lost 90 kilos.
90 kilos in 16 years of change
At 71, the actor looks very different, and that is for 16 years now he has drastically changed his habitsfirst leaving the alcohol. A task that he has already attempted on previous occasions, as he told ‘ABC’ in 2017: “In the old days it took me three months to lose 30 kilos and then I would reward myself with a six-pack of beers or something like that and I would simply go back to my old habits ”.
But now the situation is very different, and it is that as confirmed ‘MailOnline‘, John Goodman has been following a plan to lose this weight. He has been training very hard and working together with his trainer, who has designed him an eating plan based on the Mediterranean diet, including foods such as fish, vegetables, nuts, olive oil and fruit.
And it is that regarding his training, he practices sports six days a week, walking between 10,000 and 12,000 steps each day: “This time I wanted to go slowly. Move, exercise. I’m reaching an age where I can’t afford to sit still.”.
