ANDhe LaLiga 2023-24 calendar draw will take place on Thursday June 22 at 12:00 at the headquarters of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF)while the Second Division calendar will be published on Wednesday, June 28.

The First Division championship, which still does not have an official name after the end of Santander’s sponsorship (the new sponsor will be announced on July 3), begin on Friday, August 11 and conclude on Sunday, May 26. As LaLiga and the RFEF explain, “the calendar will be asymmetrical again, maintaining the commitment of recent years in order to comply with a series of conditions. In fact, based on them 99,999 different calendars are generated and one of them is chosen by lot.

LaLiga has also made the dates of the Christmas break official, which “will take place from Friday, December 22 to Monday, January 1both inclusive, resuming the competition on Tuesday, January 2, thus respecting those agreed in the Collective Agreement between LaLiga and AFE” and those of the different FIFA dates, which will force the national competition to stop and will be five periods: “From Monday 4 to Wednesday 12 September, from Monday 9 to Wednesday 17 October, from Monday 13 to Tuesday 21 November, from Monday 18 to Tuesday 26 March and, with the competition already over, from Monday 3 to Wednesday 11th of June”.

It must be remembered that next summer the men’s Eurocup will be held in Germany, from June 14 to July 14, 2024.
