One of the great television news of the summer is the return of one of the most longed for contests, the Grand Prize. The return of Ramón García, this time accompanied by Cristinini de Michelle Calvo, will once again ring in the ears of the spectators that mythical tune “of the grandfather and the child” which will take us back to the early years of the 21st century.
Although the date on which the program will begin to be broadcast has not yet been made official, it is known that the recordings will begin soon. And obviously Filming cannot begin without knowing which towns are going to fight to succeed Renedo de Esgueva, the last champion of the format in 2009.
The official Twitter account of the program has communicated which will be the eight towns that will participate throughout the episodes that will make up the delivery. Eight autonomous communities –Galicia, Asturias, Catalonia, Castilla y León, Madrid, Castilla – La Mancha, Valencian Community and Andalusia– will be represented in the fifteenth season.
Aguilar de Campo (Palencia), Alfacar (Granada), brion (La Coruna), Brainy (Barcelona), beehive (Madrid), The Montesinos (Alicante), tineo (Asturias) and Yepes (Toledo) have been chosen after a selection process in which they also other municipalities participated such as San Juan de la Rambla (Tenerife), Almodóvar del Campo (Ciudad Real), Monforte del Cid (Alicante), Alcalá del Valle (Cádiz) or Torres de la Alameda (Madrid).
The approximate start of emissions
The same Twitter account of the program has announced that the programs will begin to be seen on Spanish Television around the end of July. At least, those are the forecasts that are handled. So far, it is only known that there will be seven deliveries: four direct confrontations, two semifinals and one final. Thus, it is to be expected that the duration of the contest on the air will last for a little over a month and a half.
