Starting at 6 in the morning this Wednesday, getting to the City of Buenos Aires on the La Plata-Buenos Aires Highway is a real chaos. At the Dock Sud toll, a demonstration complicates circulation on this access road to CABA that is used by many people from La Plata, and it is for this reason that long delays are generated.
As reported by AUBASA, there is a “reduction of the road at kilometer 5.5 in the direction of CABA due to a social demonstration.” He also adds that the delays occur from kilometer 7 and that “the last direction exit to CABA is at kilometer 12 (Sarandí).”
As it was learned, bus drivers are demanding circulation permits. That’s why they crossed the units to make way for only one lane. As they stated, the protest is “for an indefinite period of time.”
AUBASA personnel are at the scene trying to order traffic, which is very slow. Meanwhile, it was learned that two road incidents occurred on the highway and further complicate traffic during peak hours.
