Immediately after leaving, Ines Lutz wrote down what will occupy her in the future: “New ways. A story full of secrets will be born,” she writes about the hashtags writersroom, change of perspective, script, Lovingit. For one of the first projects, the six-part series “Erle”, she and her colleagues were nominated for the “Tankred Dorst Prize” industry award in 2022.
But she also continues “old ways”: She was back in front of the camera as an actress – for the early evening series “Watzmann determined”. She has been here since the first episode as Johanna Beissl, daughter of Benedikt and friend of Jerry Paulsen.
In August 2022, the first take for “Nachts im Paradies / Night in Paradise” was also the first German language original from StarzPlay. The six-part series was filmed in Berlin, Brussels and other parts of Belgium until October.
The format, which is based on Frank Schmolke’s graphic novel of the same name, is about a taxi driver and his estranged 18-year-old daughter who clash while wandering through the city, reopening old wounds. The main actors are Jürgen Vogel, Lea Drinda, Birgit Minichmayr and Leonard Scheicher. The role played by Ines Lutz is not yet known.
