The long-awaited adaptation to the terror of the tender bear winnie the pooh has reached movie theaters and its release has generated a stir in Mexico.
During its world premiere, Mexico was chosen as the sponsor country, so part of the production of Winnie The Pooh: Honey and Blood was on Mexican soil, including director Rhys Frake-Waterfield, producer Scott Jeffrey and some of his actors.
The project was announced after the rights to the character, which was written by AA Milne and made part of the childhood of many by Disney, became public domain.

The creators of this new horror film ensured that the public in Latin America, but especially in Mexico, showed great enthusiasm since the idea of ​​a creepy adaptation for Winnie The Pooh was launched.

“It is a dream come true to be here, I had never been here and since we arrived we have been received with so much love that it is crazy, it is a beautiful country and its food is number one, this place has been paradise for me” said Nikolai Leon.

The new Winnie The Pooh story is aimed at a fully adult audience, bringing the original elements of the tales to a horror-filled setting.

“To use the image, we were very careful because the public domain version is from 1926, so we had to adapt to it and move away from the one that appeared in the Disney version,” the creators commented.
