Now discovery+ is looking for two Norwegian participants for “The Bachelor”, it is stated in the press release.

On the application form at the casting agency raggammuffin, it says that they want bachelors between the ages of 25 and 35 who are in “a good place in life”.

The series will be filmed in an exotic destination, and around twenty women will take part. In advance, they have to decide which bachelor they want to date, but it is possible to change their mind along the way.

In the press release, the streaming platform writes that the option “can open up even more emotions in the swing of both suitors and bachelors”.

Magnus Vant, program director at Warner Bros. Discovery believes the time has come to bring the program back to Norway.

“There are rumors that you have heard cheers from Norwegian homes when the bachelor has chosen the ‘right’ woman on TVNorge in the 2000s, so there is no doubt that this is a program that has really engaged”, says Vatn.

American “The Bachelor” has been broadcast on TV since 2002, and has been made in its own versions in around 40 countries.

The Norwegian program Ungkaren ran for three seasons on TVNorge, and the first season (2003) became one of the channel’s most popular in-house productions ever. It has been 14 years since the last version of the program, Ungkaren 20 vs. 40, went on TVNorge, according to the press release.
