However, very few know that the mangaka wrote and drew several self-contained stories before starting his magnum opus. Well, one of them will have an anime adaptation after almost 30 years of its release: monsters.

For those who don’t know him, monsters it’s a oneshot released by Eiichiro Oda in 1994 where he tells us the story of shimotsuki ryuma, a legendary swordsman who was recently confirmed to be a distant relative of Roronoa Zoro. The study in charge of this adaptation will be E&H Production, a totally new production company headed by Seong-Hu Park, creator of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film and The God of High Schooltwo works that are well known for their enormous technical quality in their animation.

As for the chapters, it is most likely that it is a movie/OVA or an anime with very few chapters.
