In May 2022, the Pentagon had reported sightings of at least 400 UFOs since 2014. Now the number has increased: the Department of Defense is analyzing more than 650 incidents of this type, according to the most recent conclusions.

Sean Kirkpatrick, Director of the All Domains Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), testified on April 19 before the United States Senate Armed Services Committee. Besides, showed two new videos about this type of phenomenon.

Until now, none is evidence of extraterrestrial activity, or that defies the known laws of physics.

“I want to underline today,” says Kirkpatrick, quoted by Science Alert, “that only a very small percentage of UAP reports (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon, the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) show signatures that could reasonably be described as anomalous.”

“Most of the unidentified objects reported to AARO demonstrate mundane characteristics of balloons, unmanned aerial systems, disorder, natural phenomena, or other easily explainable sources.” stressed authority.

Two Examples of UFO Incidents Analyzed by the Pentagon

The two new videos are of incidents that did not occur in the United States, but in places where US forces are located. Both are on the Pentagon website.

First it is from July 12, 2022 in Iraq, Middle East. A ball-shaped object flew over a military base, being captured in images by an MQ-9 drone. This success is still under investigation and remains unidentified.

the second video is from South Asia, January 15, 2023. Here, an MQ-9 drone managed to record infrared video showing another MQ-9, while another object flew into the field of view.

What were the conclusions of the second video? That the unknown object was a commercial airplane.

The presentation served to explain that the AARO could shed light on some incidents, like the one in South Asia, but not on others, like the one in the Middle East. However, they consider that the technology is not extraterrestrial, but created by adversaries of the United States.

The trends reviewed by North Americans

A noteworthy feature of the reports analyzed by the Pentagon is that most occurred between 15 thousand and 25 thousand feet of altitude (from 4,572 to 7,620 meters), controlled airspace for military aircraft.

In addition, 52% of the reports involve objects described as “round or spherical”, and most of the round ones range from 1 to 4 meters in diameter, being “white, silver or translucent metallic”, with speeds ranging from stationary to twice the speed of sound.

“Without enough data,” says Kirkpatrick, We cannot reach defensible conclusions that meet the high scientific standards we set for resolution. I will not close a case where we cannot defend the conclusions”.
