The news from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) continues to roll in and this time it’s about a nice announcement from Razer who proudly showed off its Razer Edge portable gaming console which will be released on the market as soon as January 26th, exactly 20 days.

The device is loaded with a 6.8″ AMOLED that manages a resolution of 2400×1080 FHD+ and can run up to 144Hz. It is also designed to be the first machine built for Snapdragon’s G3X Gen 1 Gaming Platform and is effectively an Android 12 tablet that has been baked into a Razer Kishi V2 Pro Controller.

The Razer Edge will be released in two versions: A Wifi model and one with support for 5G that connects to the mobile network. At the time of writing, however, the latter version seems to be planned to be sold exclusively via Verizon stores in the states, so it remains to be seen how the availability will be for us here in Europe.

The price tag in dollars will land at around $400 for the slightly cheaper Wifi model, while the 5G equivalent can be yours for just over $600.

Fancy a Razer Edge?
