Without her is “Let’s Dance” not the same: With professional dancer Renata Lusin (35), the stars have the best chance of winning, but this year everything will be different. The new season of the RTL show will have to do without the beauty.

Why? Renata is pregnant! As the “Let’s Dance” Instagram channel announces, the dancer is expecting her first child together with her husband Valentin (35). Family and health went for the two dance professionals before, they say. Which is why Renata won’t be taking part in the show this year.

Lusin only posted on her Instagram channel on Tuesday how she related to the new “Let’s Dance” episodes and look forward to the celebrities!

“Oh man, I’m so curious which celebrities are in our group and it’s so difficult to hide from you which professionals I’m in the group with,” wrote Renata with regard to the introductory show that this Friday on RTL will run.

Did she only find out about her baby luck afterwards? At least Lusin and RTL seem to have spoken out quickly and a replacement is already there…

Malika Dzumaev (31) will be available as a professional dancer for the new “Let’s Dance” season instead of Renata. In 2021 she took part alongside Mickie Krause (52) and last year with Timür Ulker (33).

A big loss is Lusin’s end, because whoever was allowed to have her by his side made it very far in the past. In 2021, Renata even won together with ex-FCN kicker Rúrik Gíslason (34). After all, last year there was a final with Matthias Mester (36).

And even with the professional offshoot, there were only first-class performances: Renata recently won “The Professional Challenge” two years in a row, including in 2021 with her husband Valentin. In contrast to her, he will probably continue to be a professional dancer on the show as planned.

But who would have had Renata by his side in season 16 remains a mystery. Among other things, take as “Let’s Dance” celebrities 2023 TikTok star Younes Zarou (24) and ex-handball player Michael Kraus (39) part.

“Let’s Dance” 2023 will run on RTL from February 17, 2023 every Friday from 8:15 p.m. and parallel online in the live stream on RTL +.
