Romina Uhrig was one of four participants in Big Brother who, although he did not reach the final, had a long stay in the most famous house in the country, along with Juliet Poggio, Nacho Castañares and the final winner of the contest, Marcos Ginocchio.
Since the former deputy entered the reality show, in October last year, five months passed until she was eliminated in the last gala before the final instance. At that time, Romina had left her three daughters in real life, the youngest being just a year and a half.
It was very difficult for her to stay inside the house because she had to overcome various emotions together, such as missing her daughters, not knowing how they were on a day-to-day basis, missing out on different occasions in their lives and feeling isolated, just like everyone else.
One of the tactics she found to “occupy her head” as she herself put it, was to cook for the ex-siblings every day. Although they took turns in pairs to go to the market, week after week, Romina was in charge of devising and then preparing the dishes for lunch and dinner.
In the process, she became good friends with Walter Alpha Santiago, who got very close to the former deputy to chat and accompany her when preparing the dishes. Once outside, he recognized that “Romina cooked for every day and I did more elaborate things.”
A few days ago, the two were invited to the first Secreto de cocina program, by El Nueve. under the leadership of Jimena Monteverde, both began to cook a dish between the two of them. Alfa was in charge of the chicken breasts and Romina was in charge of the potato millefeuille garnish.
However, the bid between them was noted from the beginning. “Who made the best dish that delighted all the Big Brother participants?” Monteverde wanted to know. Amid everyone’s laughter, Alfa said that Romina had looked for him on a few occasions but that he had promised not to kiss anyone inside the reality show. But immediately afterwards, the she hugged her partner and tried to give her a peck. “No, Alpha,” she told him, pushing him away.
