Juarez City.- The Municipal Public Security Secretariat, through the Social Prevention Directorate, starts the “My Digital Yo” program within the comprehensive strategy against violence against women and girls.

Antonio Salas Martínez, director of Social Prevention of the SSPM, reported that this program is aimed at children in preschool and primary school, in order to avoid and prevent the dangers that can be found on the internet and social networks.

Likewise, he commented that “My Digital Yo” is being implemented in 15 municipalities throughout the Mexican Republic, and Juárez participates within this network, the program began with the training of the officers of the Social Prevention Directorate, who will be in charge of replicate knowledge with girls and boys from various basic level institutions.

Therefore, the start was given in the Bellavista Children’s Garden, where they were given a task book in which through activities they learn the risks that exist in cyberspace, which they will prepare together with their parents. at home, as they will be followed up to verify that all work is done.

Subsequently, the municipal agents visited the Bellavista Elementary School, where they had contact with students from the different grades, to whom they also delivered said booklet; in addition to informing them of the care they should have when browsing the internet or, where appropriate, on the various social networks.

Salas Martínez also reported that the police will visit the remainder of April and the entire month of May all the primary and preschool schools located in the Bellavista, Centro and San Antonio neighborhoods.
