Next Thursday, March 2, the renowned Teatro Estudio will celebrate its 20th anniversary and will present the preview of some of the proposals that will be part of its anniversary season. Although it all began in an old house located at 43 between 4 and 5, after barely 2 years the Teatro Estudio landed at the current corner of 3 and diagonal 74, opening its room to the public with capacity for 80 spectators, with a lower and upper stalls. and many technical infrastructure comforts. Since then it has grown year after year, with several stages of remodeling and adaptation.

The space has housed, throughout its history, prestigious works such as “The Coleman Family Omission” and “My son only walks a little slower”, which have been part of the extensive history of works programmed in its 20 seasons. Independent theater groups from the city and the interior of the country, together with Teatro Estudio’s own productions have also filled the program year after year. There they have produced works such as “Melodias de Diván”, “Orquesta de Señoritas”, “La voz humana”, “The promises that the wind carries”, “Paternoster”, “Fraterno” and “Power”, among many other titles, with actors, actresses and creative teams from all over the city.

From the beginning, together with the creation of the room, the courses and workshops were shaping the Theater Workshop, which continues to this day under the general coordination of Marioni himself. Theater for boys and girls, young people, adults, dramaturgy seminars, courses for spectators and musical comedy workshops are some of the proposals that hosted hundreds of students year after year and that today continue to offer in their training spaces.

THE ANNIVERSARY SEASON

Within this framework, those responsible for the space decided to carry out a full agenda that will seek to honor its first 20 years of history and for this reason every Saturday from March 4th, the revival of one of the works that have been part of the beginnings of Teatro Estudio will be presented: “Fraterno” with dramaturgy and direction by Marioni and performances by Nazareno Iñiguez, Lucas Unanúa and Javier Cardini. Within the framework of the anniversary year, another of his initial productions will also be staged again, “Paternoster” by Jacob Langsner. The replacement will have the address of Xavier Cardini and the performances of Hector Grimberg, Damien Grimberg and Monica Calcagno.

Throughout March, in addition, the Sutottos Group will bring their new show “Unstable”. Emiliano Dionisitogether with the Compañía Criolla, will present their new work “El Brote”, recently premiered at the Teatro del Pueblo, with the performance of Roberto Peloni. “La Cápsula” with dramaturgy and direction of Diego Casado Rubio and the performance of Emiliano Dionisi It will be another of the proposals. Francisco Lumermann will present “Love is a good”, with the performances of Manuela Amosa, Jose Escobar, Jorge Fernandez Roman, ignacio grace and Juliet Timossi.

The premiere of the new Teatro Estudio production is also scheduled: “El Sauzalito” directed by Marioni and performances by Alejandra Bignasco and Caroline Painceira.
