The US Embassy in Havana closes again this Wednesday for "electrical failure"

The United States Embassy in Havana temporarily suspended its consular services this Wednesday, due to new electrical failures, as happened on July 13.

“Due to a power outage, some services will be suspended on Wednesday, August 2, including visa consular services. The people affected will receive information by email,” the diplomatic headquarters warned on its Facebook profile.

“We will inform the public when we can normalize services. Follow our social media for more information,” they concluded.

On July 13, the United States Embassy in Havana announced, through its official Twitter channel, that that day they would be closed and without any service to the public, due to power cuts that affected work at the diplomatic headquarters.

The closure finally lasted more than a day and those affected multiplied.
