The 12th International Sparkasse Cup for junior volleyball players will bring 15 teams from five nations to Feldkirch next weekend (January 20th and 21st, 2002). In the sports halls in Gisingen-Oberau, everyone will try to win the challenge trophies.

For the boys, Baden/Württemberg’s selection is the defending champion and the favourite. But they have strong competition from Amriswil and Friedrichshafen. From Vorarlberg’s point of view, it will certainly be interesting to see whether the reigning national champion Dornbirn can stand up to them. For the girls, teams from Poland, Germany, Liechtenstein and the Ländle entered. The field is led by Polish champions Warsaw. From Germany come teams from Stuttgart, Birkach and the Baden/Württemberg selection. Eschen/Mauren is back, as are Dornbirn and Höchst. Host FFG Feldkirch would like to find out where the newly formed team currently stands. The game starts at 9 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with the finals starting at around 1:15 p.m

The Gisingen-Oberau sports halls are catered for, entry is free.
