About the content:

“The Zurich thriller: Borchert and the murder without atonement” (AT)

No one can be charged twice for the same crime. Of course, Borchert (Christian Kohlund) respects this legal principle. When it comes to justice, however, the unlicensed attorney is not satisfied. When Hans Siegenthaler (Thomas Huber), whose daughter was stabbed years ago, asks him for help, Borchert takes on a complicated case with his head of office, Dominique (Ina Paule Klink). Siegenthaler would like to call the alleged perpetrator, who was acquitted in a criminal trial, to account for new evidence. Bernadette Schanz (Melissa Anna Schmidt), a businesswoman from an entrepreneurial family, defends herself against being defamed as a murderer. In his relentless way, Borchert uncovers what has been overlooked to uncover the truth.

“The Zurich thriller: Borchert and the trail of the stones” (WT)

A bachelor party with a fatal blackout: When the diamond dealer Xavier Schliemann (David Rott) wakes up in the hotel room, his business partner Nikol is lying dead next to him. Instead of turning himself in, Xavier drives to Dominique (Ina Paule Klink). The head of the office trusts her childhood sweetheart from college days, but Borchert (Christian Kohlund) finds his story not very credible. Captain Furrer (Pierre Kiwitt), who identifies the heartthrob as the owner of the murder weapon, initiates the search. While Xavier’s fiancé barely understands what is happening, he goes into hiding with the help of his ex-partner to find out who is trying to frame him for murder. Borchert is also investigating the suspicion that his client has made dangerous enemies by trading in artificial diamonds.

“Der Zürich-Krimi” is a Graf Film production in co-production with Mia Film, funded by the Czech State Fund for Cinematography, on behalf of ARD Degeto for ARD for the slot “DonnerstagsKrimi im Erste”. Connie Walther directs from the screenplays by Robert Hummel (“Borchert and the Murder without Atonement”) and Rainer Ruppert (“Borchert and the Trace of the Stones”). Birgit Gudjonsdottir directs the camera.
