These are the key dates of the process:
Registration of applicants
(From June 12 to 16)
Only invited persons may participate: Marcelo Ebrard, Adán Augusto López, Claudia Sheinbaum and Ricardo Monreal.
The PT and the PVEM may designate one applicant each to participate in the process who must also register in said period.
For this, the applicants will present their registration in writing; resign your charges the same day you submit your registration; sign the commitment to “respect and assume the principles of the Fourth Transformation and the basic documents of Morena; and respect and accept the results of the process, as well as support the winner.
As well as presenting two proposals for pollsters to participate in the process of raising the votes.
Candidate tours
(June 19 – August 27)
In this period, the applicants will be able to make tours in the country in which contact with the people and informative assemblies are privileged.
After August 27, they will no longer be able to carry out these activities or make statements about the process.
During the tours they must behave in an austere manner, without wasting publicity or propaganda expenses and reject all undemocratic practices such as hauling, coercion and alliances with groups or individuals in exchange for perks.
-“Public debates and controversies, smear actions, disqualification or aggression between applicants will be avoided. His followers must strictly abide by the same rule.
-“They will avoid the reactionary, conservative media, opponents of the Fourth Transformation and supporters of the old regime,” says the document endorsed today by the National Council of Morena.

(August 28-September 3)
Period in which five teams will carry out the survey
calculation and results
(From September 4 to 6)
Period in which the five teams, which will include four pollsters of the proposals by the applicants and their representatives, will carry out the calculation of the survey.
They will send the minutes with the results to the National Executive Committee of Morena so that on September 6, in a public act, they will announce who will finally be the party’s presidential candidate.
