They are looking for a suspect for allegedly killing a father and son in Madera

MADERA, California – The suspect in the murder of a father and son is under the crosshairs of Madera authorities after fleeing in a Toyota Tacoma pickup Sunday morning.

According to the police report, Madera County Sheriff’s officers are investigating two homicides that occurred after 4 am on June 18.

Apparently, Francisco Trejo Ramírez would have shot a man who was in a house located in the 23000 block of Avenida 9. Immediately afterwards, the suspect would have done the same with another victim less than a mile away.

Authorities believe that both homicides are related, since the victims would be father and son.

“Agents responded to both locations and discovered multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Two of them, later determined to be father and son, were pronounced deceased at the scene,” the Sheriff said in a statement.

Another victim was transported to a medical facility for treatment, however his condition is unknown at this time.

On the other hand, authorities point out that the suspect should be considered “armed and dangerous.”

Francisco Trejo Ramirez, 51, left the scene in a silver 2007 Toyota Tacoma pickup, license CA 80760B2, detectives added.

Anyone with information regarding this case or the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to contact Detectives at (559) 675-7770. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers at 559-498-7867.
