“I’m going to do shit to you, I’m going to touch you where it hurts the most with your parents and your daughters. I know how to get into your parents’ house, I have all the time in the world to do what I want”. This and other threats were launched by a man towards his ex-partner and his family through audio and WhatsApp messages that were delivered to the Police at the end of last December.
The victim specified that she lived together for two and a half years and had a child with the aggressor; while from a previous relationship she has three daughters of 14, 12 and 9 years old. “She always mistreated me, but when she started mistreating my daughters I said enough. Later they told me that she was groping them and I made the complaint. For a month and a half we lived in great fear because he escaped to Buenos Aires, but thank God they already caught him and I hope he pays for all the damage he did ”, remarked KG (35).
Even while on the run, the person involved never stopped harassing the victim through social networks: “Report me as many times as you want, I’m not afraid of the Police,” he wrote. But words were of little use to him, since on the last Sunday personnel from Regional Unit II proceeded to arrest Víctor Hugo S. (41), who was hiding at his sister’s house in the Aeroclub de Oberá neighborhood.
In addition to harassing her ex, Hugo S., she also threatened the woman’s employer.
According to investigators, in the middle of last week the suspect returned from Buenos Aires and sought refuge with his relative. Meanwhile, undercover tasks made it possible to confirm his current whereabouts and his capture was achieved. Noticing the police presence, the person involved tried to flee on foot, but was hit after a few meters and now must answer for the serious accusation against him.

In addition to the complaints of threats and sexual abuse, sources in the case specified that Víctor Hugo S. has an extensive record for crimes against property. His “specialty” is theft and burglary. Regarding the accusation of her ex, in dialogue with El Territorio the woman specified that at the end of November she denounced him for threats, since they were separated from her but she continued to harass her.
In this context, one of her daughters told her that the person involved was groping her, which was shocking for her. To make matters worse, then another mentioned the same thing to her. And the impunity with which the accused was handled was such that he also threatened his ex’s employer and her family.
“I was working and my ex came threatening me. He told me: ‘File the complaint you made against me now, I’ll give you time until Monday. I wasn’t notified of anything, but I know you did. I’m going to do shit to you, I’m going to touch you where it hurts the most with your parents and your daughters. I know how to get into your parents’ house, I have all the time in the world to do what I want’. And so all the time, ”he recalled.
Faced with constant harassment, KG filed several complaints, while the defendant insisted that he was not afraid of the authority. In this regard, he commented that “when I told him that I was going to denounce him, he replied ‘I’ll go to jail and when I get out I’m going to kill you. I’m going to burn down your house, sell my car and pay for a lawyer. I am not going to appear in any court. He said that, but later he escaped to Buenos Aires ”.
In another recorded threat, he wrote: “You are going to disappear like Mario Golemba. Don’t be afraid of me if you don’t want to, look at it”.

But contrary to what the accused might have speculated, the Police were on his trail and in the first instance it was determined that he had escaped to Buenos Aires. In any case, after remaining a fugitive for about a month and a half, in the middle of last week residents of the Aeroclub neighborhood alerted to the situation reported that they saw him again in the area, which led to his arrest on Sunday.
After being reviewed by the police doctor on duty, the defendant was housed in police headquarters by order of the Second Investigating Court. Likewise, when comparing the database of the Investigations Division of the Regional Unit II, it was established that Víctor Hugo S. has an extensive record for crimes against property and against persons.
In addition to the causes of simple sexual abuse and death threats, he would also be identified in at least three acts of theft and burglary. In this sense, a spokesperson for the case indicated that he was linked to the theft of tents and truck equipment, among other facts.
