The free forks, those restaurants where you can eat as many dishes as you want, often generate anxiety and desperation for wanting to try everything. Although there are some in which the diners are served food from a buffet, there are also others where the waiters bring the dishes that are requested. The key is to ask for what you want to consume and then serve yourself again. However, many get desperate when they see so much food and they help themselves to everything, even knowing that so much food could never enter their body.
Some young people from Lleida, Spain, attended a restaurant of these characteristics, called haaki, that offers a menu that allows you to eat everything you want for a fixed price but they went out of line and ordered numerous dishes that, obviously, they did not get to consume.
“What you see on the table is all that we have left over, we’ll see how much the fine is”, began by showing one of the young people in the video shared on his TikTok account. And he added: “Now I tell you how much the joke has cost us, and our anxiety.”
Finally the ticket arrived; they charged them 181 euros that included the four free buffet menus that each of the young people ordered, added to the supplement for all the orders that they did not eat. The positive: that food could be taken home in different packages.
In the networks, they were very harsh with young people for not taking into account the amount of food they left, and even the majority of the users of the Chinese social network questioned the additional fine they were charged, something they considered too little.
“Being spoiled has a price and I would have doubled it for being funny”, “I wish they would charge you a thousand a head for not knowing how much the food costs”, “I will never understand it, if it is à la carte what a need to have so much food in the table?”, “It seems very good to me that they charge them because the food is not wasted in that way”, “Can’t you ask little by little so as not to throw away so much food?, “They were measured with the drinks because they knew that that They had to pay for it separately”, were some of the comments on the publication.
