They call for stricter gun control after double murder

A Brooklyn councilwoman is calling for stricter gun control laws following the murders of a father and son in East Flatbush on Sunday.

The authorities reported that a neighbor was the author of the murder.

Reports indicate that the shooting may have been motivated by noise complaints.

The homicide occurred Sunday night in a residential building on Brooklyn Avenue.

The victims, a 47-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, were found in the hallway on the fourth floor of the building, with gunshot wounds to the head and torso.

The councilor of the district where the event occurred, Farah N. Louis, announced a press conference for today, where she will speak about the need to implement measures for greater control of the carrying of firearms, with the aim of preventing similar acts.
