Undercover police investigators arrested a 23-year-old subject in Aristóbulo del Valle who would be part of a criminal association, which uses a profile on social networks offering stolen vehicles for sale with adulterated documentation. The procedure began as a result of a case denounced by a woman from San Vicente, who through a website had agreed to purchase a vehicle, which was acquired by the victim and then kidnapped by having false documentation.

For this reason, the Police, through the Computer Crime area, began sweeping the networks and was able to establish that the gang would continue to operate in the province and that there would possibly be other victims. Likewise, Cybercrime investigates that the same profile is used by more members with ties in other provinces. In this context, the agents were following in the footsteps of the suspect and yesterday at 8:00 p.m., in the vicinity of a service station in the town of Aristóbulo del Valle, they caught the criminal red-handed when he was trying to sell a Ford Ka with false documentation to some men. 33 and 42 years old.

It is worth mentioning that, through interprovincial police agreements, investigations are carried out in order to establish the origin of stolen vehicles that are marketed by criminals. Finally, the detainee was taken to the police station at the disposal of Oberá Investigating Judge No. 2 and, as for the car, he was kidnapped.
