The authorities raided pavilions 4 and 9 of the penitentiary center, finding the 19 telephones, a sharp weapon and drugs.
In this regard, the Minister of Justice, José Tello Alfaro, stated that they will investigate whether this equipment has been used to commit crimes and called on the company in charge of blocking cell phones to check if their system has been violated.
He added that the inmates who have been discovered in the power of the mobile phonesthey will be subjected to a more rigorous treatment, for the offense committed.
